Yemen – Displacement Tracking Report (DTR) For March 2023

From 01 January to 31 March 2023, the Executive Unit for IDPs monitored 3,133 households (16,141 individuals) who were displaced from 20 different governorates and they were distributed among 10 governorates.

The Executive Unit for IDPs also recorded 1,209 households (5,018 individuals), including 1,026 households (4,173 individuals) who were newly displaced and 183 households (845 individuals) were displaced for the second time between 01 – 31 March 2023.

Most of these households (27%) were displaced from Marib Governorate, (25%) of them were displaced from Shabwah , and %(16-14) of them were displaced from Al Hodeidah and Taiz Governorate, while (12.9%) of the households were displaced from the governorates of Ibb, Dhamar, Sanaa City, Al Bayda , Raymah, Sanaa .

For the same period, 01 – 31 March 2023, it was also recorded that 13 households (63 individuals) left their current areas of displacement.

The Executive Unit also tracked 11 households (45 individuals) returned to their places of origin in March.
