Displacement Tracking Report (Yemen DTR) From January 2015 To March 2023
From 01 January to 30 April 2023, the Executive Unit for IDPs monitored 3,846 households (21,832 individuals) who were displaced from 20 different governorates and they were distributed among 8 governorates.
The Executive Unit for IDPs also recorded 713 households (4,047 individuals), including 647 households (3,752 individuals) who were newly displaced and 66 households (295 individuals) were displaced for the second time between 01 – 30 April 2023.
Most of these households were displaced from Marib Governorate about (47%), Al Hodeidah about (15%), Amran about (9%), about (6%) both of Shabwah and Taiz governorates while %(1-2) of them were displaced from the governorates of Ibb, Dhamar, Sanaa City, Al Bayda, Raymah, Sanaa,Ad Dali and Hajjah.
For the same period, 01 – 30 April 2023, it was also recorded that 85 households (472 individuals) left their current areas of displacement. The Executive Unit also tracked 31 households (164 individuals) returned to their places of origin in April.
