Yemen – Displacement Tracking Report (DTR) For MAY 2023
From 01 January to 31 May 2023, the Executive Unit for IDPs in yemen monitored 4,191 households (23,560 individuals) who were displaced from 20 different governorates and they were distributed among 10 governorates.
The Executive Unit for IDPs also recorded 345 households ( 1,728 individuals), including 265 households (1,324 individuals) who were newly displaced and 80 households (404 individuals) were displaced for the second time between 01 – 31 May 2023. Most of these households were displaced from Taiz Governorate about (24%), Al Hodeidah about (23%) , Marib about (15%) ,Ibb about (10%) , while %(1_4) of them were displaced from the governorates of Dhamar , Al Bayda , Hajjah , Raymah , Amran , Sanaa City , Ad Dali , Al Mahwit , Sanaa , Shabwah .
During the same period 01 – 31 May 2023, The Executive Unit for IDPs also recorded that 30 households (127 individuals) left their current area’s of displacement.
The Executive Unit also tracked 151 households (768 individuals) returned to their places of origin in May.
