Report on Houthis Targeting IDPs Camps Alhuma, Marib
on Thursday mooring 9/12/202, the IDPs in Alhuma Camp in Marib Governorate lies in the middle of Yemen were surprised by the fall of two shells in the camp.
These shells led to minor injuries of a woman and (6) children.
This attack led some IDPs to flee the camp to another places for fear of another attack.
The Executive Unit for IDPs Camp Management Procedures
– The Executive Unit for IDPs Camp Management team immediately executed a visit to the site to verify and evaluate the situation.
– The Executive Unit for IDPs Camp Management team communicated the local authorities (governorate operations).
– The Executive Unit for IDPs Camp Management team transferred the injured woman and the children to the hospital for treatment.

the Yemen conflict to intervene quickly to stop attacks on IDPs, protect IDPs and to condemn the Houthis targeting of IDPs camps.

humanitarian standards that forbid targeting civilians.

The Executive Unit for IDPs Camp Management calls on Special Envoy of the SecretaryGeneral for Yemen, Hans Grundberg to intervene and stop targeting IDPs by Houthis and the stop the armed confrontations in Marib because the continuity of the armed confrontations will lead to the largest wave of displacement. It might lead (two and half million civilians) to displace.
