Displacement Tracking Report: 479 new households during April 2022
The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps in Yemen monitored the displacement of 479 Households, consisting of 2,896 individuals, during the month of April 2022.
The monthly displacement tracking report issued by the unit showed that the governorates of Marib and Shabwa received 58 percent of the displaced households, while the governorates of Al-Dhalea and Al-Hodeidah received 24 percent of the displaced households, and the remaining 18 percent were distributed in the governorates of Aden, Mahra, Abyan, Taiz, Lahj and Hadramout.
The governorates from which the new households were displaced include the governorates of Hodeidah and Marib with 45 percent and 32 percent of the provinces of Taiz, Al-Bayda and Ibb, while 23 percent were distributed in the provinces of Al-Dhalea, Dhamar, Raymah , Shabwa, Amran, Sana’a, Al-Amanah, Hajjah, Al-Jawf and Al-Mahwit.
With regard to the movement of displaced people, the report monitored during the month of April 2022 the departure of 49 households, consisting of 209 individuals, who left their current governorates of displacement to other governorates, which may be to their areas of origin or new areas of displacement.
