Yemen Displacement Tracking Report, July 2022
From 01 January to 31 July 2022, the Executive Unit for IDPs monitored 6,393 households (35,327 individuals) who were displaced from 21 different governorates and they were distributed among 11 governorates.
The Executive Unit for IDPs also recorded449 households (2,508 individuals), including 423 households (2,343 individuals) who were newly displaced and 26 households (165 individuals) were displaced for the second time between 01 – 31 July 2022. Most of these households (60 %) were displaced to Marib Governorate, and (20%) of them were displaced to Shabwah Governorate and Taiz Governorate, while (20%) of the households were displaced to the governorates of Al Hodeidah, Abyan, Aden, Hadramawt, Lahj, and Ad Dali.
For the same period, 01 – 31 July 2022, it was also recorded that 9 households (42 individuals) left their current areas of displacement.
The Executive Unit also tracked 83 households (324 individuals) returned to their places of origin in July.
