Third in less two weeks.. Fire in a camp for IDPs in Al-Dhalee
Yesterday, Al-Dhalee governorate witnessed a fire in one of the camps for the displaced, due to the leakage of cooking gas, which is the third fire recorded in less than two weeks, after two similar incidents in two separate camps in Marib, in the center of the country.
According to the reports of the executive unit, fire broke out at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday 2022/09/13 in Habel Althavalebah IDPs Site in AL Husain District, Aldalexee Governorate. The fire outbroke in one because of cooking gas leaking in one tent and the fire extended to the tent nearby.
Most IDPs NFIs materials and food items were damaged. The fire lasted for about half an hour after it was finally put off using water with the help of the IDPs in the site. No human casualties were reported.

Before that, fire broke out at 1:00 p.m. on Friday 2022/09/09 in Al Harml Alsharqi IDPs in Marib Alwadi District, Marib Governorate. The fire broke out because of an electrical short circuit.
The fire led to the damage of (8) shelters (tents and shade nets) and all the materials including (300000 YR) and (18) goats (livestock) of the displaced household. No human casualties were reported. No intervention is reported until the moment of writing this report.

On the 4th of September 2022, A fire broke out at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday in the in Alhazm IDPs in Marib Governorate.
The fire broke out because of leaking cooking gas in the tent. The fire led to the damage of the tent and all the materials of the displaced household. No human casualties were reported.
