The Executive Unit for the Management of Displacement Camps in Yemen is a governmental body established by Cabinet Resolution No. (454) of 2009, under the supervision of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Since mid-2017, with the increasing numbers of displaced persons in Yemen, the Executive Unit has been reactivated to operate from the temporary capital, Aden, overseeing displacement camps across various governorates.

The unit works to protect displaced persons, facilitate humanitarian response, and secure shelter and housing, in coordination with relief organizations operating in Yemen.

The unit has dozens of offices in governorates and key liberated directorates, where hundreds of employees and volunteers work to manage and coordinate humanitarian activities in different regions.
